Midnight Madness and Weekend Music

Sorry for the short notice, but if you are in (or near) Bennington tonight, you don't want to miss MIDNIGHT MADNESS, a town-wide sale that starts at 7 pm and ends at midnight. This event has been going on for decades and is a very popular shopping event. 

This weekend there is a lot happening with music here in the Shires of Vermont (Manchester - Bennington). On friday, check out Alex Torres and his latin orchestra at Hildene. For tickets, see www.vtartxchange.org.

Also starting tonight is Summerfest, downtown Bennington's summer concert series. The kickoff will be tonight with a live radio broadcast by WBTN from downtown, and Friday has the Kirsten Thien band, followed by Caught in the Act and The Talleys on Saturday.
